ANAT. Membrane formée par l'amnios et le chorion et entourant le fœtus :
• Chez les Singes et chez l'Homme la cavité amniotique s'agrandit au point... que l'amnios qui le circonscrit vient s'appliquer contre le chorion... et s'accoler à lui; il devient ainsi un amnio-chorion.
